With the industrialization, large-scale, and wide application of electronic products in PCB processing, more and more electronic waste is produced and manufactured in the production and life activities of human society.
Waste circuit boards includes waste computer motherboards, waste cell phone motherboards, waste TV boards, and other PCB board used in household appliances.
Waste PCBs contain heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and hexavalent chromium. If they are discarded at will, PCBs also contain toxic chemicals such as polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) as flame retardant components. Not only will it pollute the environmental soil and water resources, potentially endangering human health, but also cause wasted resources that are difficult to recycle. The scrap PCB contains nearly 20 kinds of non-ferrous metals and rare metals, which has a high economic value for recycling.
Therefore, it is particularly important to properly dispose of the used PCB circuit boards.
PCB circuit board recycling methods:
1. You can use our PCB dismantling machine to separate the electronic components from the motherboard. The tin on circuit board will be melted, and the electronic components(card slots, capacitors, chips, etc.) will be dropped from the circuit board with the running of the main engine.
2. For PCB motherboards, physical and mechanical means are usually used for recycling. Mechanically crush PCB, disintegrate and separate the metal and organic matter, and improve the sorting efficiency. When the crushed particles reach 0.6mm, the metal can basically reach 100% dissociation, but the choice of crushing method and grade depends on the subsequent process. The crushed materials, according to their differences in physical properties such as density, particle size, conductivity, magnetic permeability, and surface characteristics, can be separation by useing wind shaker technology, flotation separation technology, cyclone separation technology, float-sink separation, eddy separation technology, and high pressure electrostatic separation technology, etc.
3. For electronic components containing precious metals (such as gold), chemical methods can be used to extract precious metals.
